Mushrooms offer a wide variety of benefits, but each mushroom seemingly has unique properties that can contribute to our wellness.

Lions Mane mushrooms are currently undergoing a lot of research for their hericenones and erinacines.  Two properties that have shown to cross the blood brain barrier & help stimulate growth of brain cells.  This has shown promise for study groups suffering from brain injuries, and diseases such as Alzheimer’s & Parkinson’s. As if that is not enough, Lions Mane has also been studied for its effects on depression, anxiety, gut health, ability to boost the immune system, cancer fighting agents, modulate blood sugar levels, and cholesterol!

Reishi mushroom, also known as the mushroom of immortality (some claim reishi can help with aging & skin care), is a purely medicinal mushroom.  Along with its immune boosting properties, Reishi has been shown to assist with cancer patients, reduce fatigue & depression, while also helping with insomnia.  It is important to note that there are warnings for combining Reishi extracts with certain medications (specifically blood pressure medications & diabetic medications).

Maitake, or the dancing mushroom (reported that people would traditionally dance upon finding this mushroom), is a commonly foraged mushroom and is often referred to as Hen of the Woods.  It is a delicious mushroom to eat, but it can be turned into extracts due to its high levels of beta-glucans and antioxidants.  This mushroom has been mainly studied for its ability to assist in cancer, cholesterol, and diabetes.

Lastly, Turkey Tail, which has been most popularized for its links to cancer patients due to a glycoprotein mixture found in this mushroom referred to as PSK.  There is a lot of research out there with this mushroom and its correlation with active chemo patients, but outside of that, it is one of the most researched mushrooms for boosting the immune system.

We recommend using anywhere from 1/3rd of the dropper to a full dropper.  You may take this orally, or mix in with your favorite beverages.

This is simply because we grow all of our own mushrooms (we do not purchase them).  We source all of our own raw materials from local farms/mills, do all of our own inoculation, fruiting, harvesting, and, of course, make all of our own tinctures.

On average, a 1oz bottle will last about 4 weeks (using about 1/2 dropper per day).  This can vary depending on dosage.

Our tinctures are about 25% alcohol.  The alcohol is an important part of the extraction process, and it also maintains that this product will remain shelf stable; however, it will taste like alcohol.  Mixing our tinctures in with your favorite beverages will mitigate this affect.

Our mushroom tinctures are processed using 100% fruiting bodies through a dual extraction (hot water & alcohol) process.  This process is done in an ultrasonic machine which through studies, has been concluded to be more effective than traditional soak.
